The task we were set was to shoot a 2 minute movie of a character walking through a door, crossing the room, sitting down and exchanging a few lines of dialogue with the other character who is also sitting down.
We started by getting into groups of up to five people, once we had established the groups we each had to give idea's to how we could make the clip, we decided to go for the more comical approach and have the main character visit an opticians and read off of my t shirt.
After this idea was solid we all had to create a storyboard each, I was given the opening sequence , so I decided that the main character would walk to the camera and keep coming until he's just about to hit it then he would walk left to avoid hitting the camera. My other shot was a close-up of the main characters legs, and the camera would be panning backwards keeping the legs in shot the whole time.
